Secure Record Access for VIPs, Financial Institutions, and Sensitive Data Environments
Use Case
Organizations like banks, hospitals, and defense contractors often store highly sensitive records ... such as VIP client profiles, internal HR reports, or compliance-restricted financial data. To protect these records, access must be limited, acknowledged, and auditable.
Scenario Example:
A relationship manager at a private bank clicks on an Employee or VIP client’s Account. Before seeing the record, they are presented with the company’s privacy policy, wjile the record in the background is blacked out. They must read and confirm acknowledgment before access is granted. That interaction is timestamped and logged for compliance review.
How It Works
When a user clicks on a protected record, Co-Pilot runs logic in real time to determine if it is classified as "sensitive" (e.g., based on a field like
Record Type = VIP
,Restricted__c = TRUE
, or Employee Record = True, or some other custom flag logic). The screen is blocked immediately with an overlay + the modal.
The modal displays the company policy, privacy notice, or access terms (fully customizable).
The user must click “Acknowledge and Proceed” to unlock the record.
Upon acknowledgment:
CoPilot stores the user's identity
Logs the record that was accessed
Saves a timestamp of the interaction
Captures the acknowledgment event for reporting or audit review
Benefits
Enforces corporate policy for sensitive or privileged data
Prevents accidental or unauthorized viewing of high-risk records
Tracks user access at the individual record level
Supports compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, GLBA, and other data privacy standards
Allows Admins to run reports on who accessed what and when
Ideal For
Private banking and wealth management firms
Healthcare and hospital systems
Defense, legal, and government institutions
Internal HR or legal teams handling confidential matters
